Monocopter-E Rocket Kit

Yes, it is indeed a one-bladed rocket powered helicopter, AKA monocopter!

These things are incredible to see and hear, leaving a smoke trail resembling a tight coiled spring. This will not go high, and will tumble recover safely, so it is suitable for the smallest flying fields (that meet the minimum safe size for "E" motors).

This monocopter is carefully designed and balanced for E12-0 motors. Other 24mm motors may be possible but will require trimming the length of the wing to rebalance.

A very short 1/4" launch rod is required, which needs to be no longer than about 6".

This kit is produced exclusively by New Century Rocketry under a licensing agreement with Curtis Heisey.

• Birch or poplar dowel balance beam
• Heavy duty 24mm motor mount
